The challenge
The Selektor sells 3D-printed accessories for record collectors: the Now Playing Mini stand and the Batea crate. Until 2025, they were produced in batches by an outside print shop. That meant tying up inventory in every color, checking each batch by hand, and shipping from the brand’s own warehouse. As demand slowed, those products moved to “made to order, 15-day lead time.”
The solution
With Craftshop, every 3D product sold on The Selektor’s Shopify store reaches the print shop as a per-part job. Before the first sale, each model goes through a golden sample with photos and an agreed price. After that, every part is photo-checked and ships straight to the buyer, with tracking synced back to the store automatically. The Selektor holds no stock, prints nothing, and never touches the order.
